Development of Innovative Gasification Process of Used Plastics by Using Fluidized Bed

Used plastic waste flowing into ocean has become a worldwide problem. In recent years international trade in used plastics been regulated. Therefore, large amount of should be disposed domestically. On the other hand, with high calorific value could as an energy source. Then gasification process using fluidized bed newly developed. this process, were decomposed reactor at around 600°C which was lower temperature than that current commercial processes. Higher gas attained by reaction control temperature. Hydrogen enriched generated from water shift basic oxygen furnace fluidizing, or gasifying agent since hydrogen considered to have effect for promoting decomposition hydrocarbon plastics. As fluid medium reactor, catalysts improve efficiency. study, and type catalyst on produced efficiency investigated. High (LHV: 5000 kcal/Nm3) successfully pyrolysis appropriate catalyst.
